Just renewed my vehicle road tax on line over here.
 590euro  which is £464 for a 2.0lt  
We may have a slightly lower petrol price over here but road tax is a killer.
Next month another 500 euro for the Freelander and then the Manta in June ( it's only 25 euro 'cause it's over 30 years old.... )
Oh yeah forgot to say the vans were last month....

I wish....
116 cents  which is 91p a litre .
When we came over here four years ago it was 60 cents so it's virtually doubled in that time.
If it continues I'm switching to the ride on lawnmower.....

could you not register the car in northern ireland and pay u.k.road tax ? :-/

91p a litre is better than i expected. Was thinking about popping over to see the wife's relations in Millstreet Co. Cork. Decided against as i thought petrol would be dearer than over here and what with ferry prices plus getting to and from ferry i wouldn't have much change out of £600.

I remember those. Only time I've ever ridden one it was through my mate's mum's rose bed when I was about 14.  

A mate of mine had one and he got knocked off it by our maths teacher's wife on the way home from school. He was so embarrassed to be seen on it let alone in a heap at the side of the road he rode off home without an exhaust leaving me to collect it and walk home with it.

Hello Mike .
Not really sure ,but a friend of mine owns the local garage so I'll ask. He has a LPG pump so if we have one down here in the deepest SW I would think it would be reasonably available.
I'll get back to you .

i just noticed aswell its only a 2000 car!!

i think you need to get rid and buy a smart car, but i think that might cost ya £200 to tax goin off what you paid for the omega!!!
