I seem to remember that they had some form of 'free wheel' system on over run...... :-\ :-\ :-\

Yes mate it was a handle down in center of footwell-you dont get engine brakeing with a 2 stroke

In answer to the ops original question I think it will need a bit of isopon as well as a good polish to sort this one out.  Will also need the services of a gardener before any renovation can start  ::) ::) ;)
