on ebay at the moment seems very cheap and is for the 2.6 and not sure if it would fit 3.0 liter

So thats £500 for the motor
£150 / £200 for the box
£100 ? for fitting
knocking on abit..£800- ish, plus any other bits and pieces that may need doing.
is it worth that ?

I saw one of, if not the last Met Police Omega go through auction 18 months ago or so. Direct from them, body very rough...but seemed mechanically perfect. That sold for £600ish plus comission.
If this one could be bought for £350, I think it'd just about be worth it...but I'd have to replace the front bumper or at the very least fit the headlight washers - they are a must!

Got my 3.2 elite from auction back is september for £450 only 50,000 miles and pretty immaculate
