I use several, only family and friends get my real one. Which I manage.

As always, I'm wary of Google for any storage, as they are not a charity, and my private emails are not for them to analyse.  But I do use them for receiving spam (ie, online shopping, site signups etc).

I've had the same hotmail address for nearly 15 years.  It's easy to remember and all my friends know it.   :)

Microsoft however have decided in a classic case of corporate BS to rebrand hotmail.com as outlook.com and I get encouraged now and again when I log in to change my address!!!  :(

I've resisted so far but I'm sure at some stage it will be done for me.... Aaaaaaaah!!!!  >:(

That is why I have 2 email addresses, one for close people and one for iffy websites like gocompare etc.

Yep

I've had two email addresses for ages

One "proper" one using my own name etc, for proper communication, not much crap

Another Hotmail one for other stuff, not my real name, tons of crap.

Easy really.

I just use MS Outlook with my BT account. I can access throgh BT Yahoo or Outlook itself. Never had any trouble with junk/spam. Yeah, it comes in but goes to a seperate folder. I have never set the thing up (shut up vamps and cleggy ;D) but all the rubbish goes to the junk folder. Often wondered how that happens ???

Your current broadband provider should offer free email with a web interface and POP3 interface for Outlook .  Outlook is the best email program if you want to store, file and search emails rather than just send, read and delete.

If you buy yourself a domain name for £4 a year (b4ndit.co.uk is available) you can  keep anything@b4ndit.co.uk for life and change your broadband suppliers every year.
