Max road tax is £475 https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-tax-rate-tables

There's a 'new car tax' that IIRC is £1000  :-\

Yeah, must have been brand spankers. New cars with high emission get that rate, if its some POS box its a lot cheaper

On a 12 plate, have to say it was a beast of a motor , black convertable, never seen brake discs as big-nearly the same size as the wheel !

I generally don't have any time for the politics of envy, but I bet it was more satisfying slapping a ticket on that, than had it been an old Fiesta!!  ;D

It could have been that the driver made an honest mistake like we all have, but it's also quite possible that the driver thinks that parking restrictions don't apply to Aston Martin owners....  :)

True, he's probably got a pile of them on the back seat that the servant collects now and again to sort out....  :-\

Isnt there a story of a footballer who "lost" one of these cars?
