Once the miggy is running right I'm going to treat it to a set of locking bolts as it doesnt have any. Looked on flea bay and theres loads from about £8 up. Are the cheap ones any good, or should I just go McGard or genuine??

That depends where you are and the price of scrap alloys

I'd stick to quality items if I was to re-fit locking wheel bolts, although I tend to remove them and bin them if the car is on standard wheels

Guess Nottingham is getting rough!   

They are such a pain, that said if you DIY wheel changes its fine as you will probably torque them. But if you take it to garages, you are just asking for trouble!

The GM ones are a bit poor. And TBH, easy enough to get the wheels off if they are fitted.
