leaking boot pass side
« on: 29 December 2012, 15:52:05 »

ive hear this is a common issue but cant find a tread on it.  My spare wheel well is filling up with water which appears to be coming down the inside of the rear quarter panel.  its not actually coming from the boot seal but appears to be coming from between a join in panels somewhere in that region.  Any ideas of how to stop it??  boot stinks like shit and im having to dry/ clean it regularly.

I had an issue like this on a previous Omega i had, i went to halfords and purchased a seam sealer, i resealed all the seams in the boot and the issue went away (The seam sealer was in a tube and had to use a sealant gun to apply.
