GM battery warranty?
« on: 07 January 2013, 18:45:19 »

After shelling out £50 (inc VAT) for a 50 Ah  Vauxhall battery for Mrs Opti's Corsa 1.2, I can't find any mention of a guarantee.

Any ideas,  chaps?........I hope it's not a paltry 12 months... :(

Thanks, Mr Tunnie. :y I'm keeping the receipt. Three years sounds better than 12 months.

I thought they'd stopped doing Go Batteries now... My last one from AndyC was genuine GM branding and I'm sure he said they no longer do Go branded ones :-\

Go Batteries are long gone. All batteries now are GM and have a three year warranty. Just a word though if it does go wrong you will need to take the car back to a Vauxhall Dealer for it to be checked over, charging system etc.

Yes, I meant what was the Go batteries - I'm sure when they were still around, the "genuine" OE batts only had 2yr?
