Driveshaft ?

Anyone know where the best place to get a driveshaft from cheaper than £54 exc vat for a 1998 1.1 pug .. that price was quoted from local motor factors and i know he is not cheap on parts  >:(

Thats cheap for a driveshaft particularly if it includes CV joints.

My parts guy says...
1124cc TU1 - Driveshaft assy - £32.34 + VAT for new

Or if you dare a SH part, there's plenty on ebay;

I would sooner buy a new one , josh that one on ebay comes up not compatible when i did the search on it in the listing . That price you quoted for new from your parts guy sounds the best yet . I will ring around for some more quotes and see if i can get a similar price  ;)

It looks like he's mistakenly listed it as fitting a 406 rather than a 106.
If you can't beat the price from my guy, I'm happy to order it for you, for you to collect...or when I next take a trip over to Brackely meet somewhere. How far into Northants are you?

get you mechanic mate too check bottom arm bushes are ok=that knocks the drive shafts out on them mate :y :y
