can anybody help
i have a problem with my wreg 2litre 16 valve omega, when i start it from cold i can smell petrol, then when warmed up it keeps cutting out when i come to a stop.
i have cleaned the throtle body but still the same, did a paperclip test and code 0100 came up, could it be the MAF sensor is at fault

Have you cleaned the IACV?
Wouldn`t hurt to unplug MAF see if there`s any change

unpluged the MAF ran the car up to temp never even attempted to cut out, switched it off put the plug back in started the car and almost straight away it tried to cut out, revs dropping below 400rpm then back up to 600rpm.
so should i replace the MAF sensor or could it be somthing else.

Try and buy a genuine one though not a cheap Chinese one off Ebay, they don't work very well
