Heater
« on: 20 March 2013, 16:50:56 »

So after many postings and replacing thermostat and HBV, flushing matrix with hose pipe and finding very little difference in the cabin temp I was at a loss even with all the help from OOF members.

So today whilst looking through the old invoices and paperwork from I had when I got the car found invoice for OIL cooler replacement!

Disconnected matrix and with a hot solution of dish washer tablets.................. tons of crap from matrix :y :y :y :y :y :y

Ran engine after a cold water flush and refilling system and HEAT in cabin.

Going to run for a few days and then re-do!!!

There is a flush specifically for oil cooler failures - forte bio degreaser, may be worth a try
