Police Car Owners...
« on: 08 April 2013, 11:27:10 »

Hi,

I'm after some part numbers if possible, the Police car roof lining has 2 plastic roof lining inspection covers - One is sunroof sized the other smaller and their held in with small plastic pins/dowels that push through the panel and the head of the pin holds the panel in place.  Its the part number for these plastic pins i need....

Cheers  :y

Bresco.com is always worth a look for odd automotive fasteners. They're not cheap, but the site is well organised and illustrated, so it's easy to find something suitable.

Visible parts and their clips the same... two for the rear cover, six for the front one.

Only difference being the front ones clip straight into the roof beams, whereas the rear ones clip to a pair of brackets which are clipped to the roof lining itself :y

Facelift panels are grey... (that's four out of four on the cars I've owned) :y

Just to add, those panels are factory fitted, so dealer should be able to help. If I can get off my death bed I'll have a rummage on my plod estate to look for a part number :y

Thanks Al that would be great, if you can manage it I also need the part number for the little covers that give access to where you would fasten down a roof rack/bars  :y

Right, had a look, those trim clips have no markings on them. So obviously generic ones bought in by the million ::) the plod spec Omega was sold across Europe, so might be dealer listed :-\

As for tother, I should have 4, but if you saw my garage you would understand my inability to find them ::)

Were fitted to GLS estates and any prefacelift ones without roofrails, present dealer with reg,and they dhould be able to find them :y bear in mind that they're bolted on :y
