I've just been given one of these, are they useful for the Omega?

I think the generic Omniscans are OBDII only (so fine for 2.2/2.6/3.2)

This is an Omniscan Omitec. Haven't had time to try it yet, but got lots of different leads with it.

I thought Omniscan made OBDII ones, and Omnitec made the Testbook series (for Rover/Landrover)?

Ah, google clarified.

Omnitec make scanners, including the Teskbook series. OmniScan is one of their products, a generic OBDII scanner. So I was kinda right ;D

I lied, it's  an Omitec Omiscan. Unfortunately the GM designated cable that comes with it doesn't fit my '51 plate 3.2 which I assume is EOBD compliant, whereas the '99 TD will probably not be. :-\
