we took a chance and bought tablets for our kids for xmas gone from china, on eBay for £70 each.. they worked fine and even supported flash player, which meant we could stream live tv, and football, but they werent 'sturdy' enough for a 3 + 6 year old, and typically got broken.... Recently I bought a samsung one for myself, and its a tough little tablet, but doesnt support flash player, so no live football for me on it. To be honest, once its got wi-fi, and you can download from google play, it'll be fine. Usually if its from fidl, or mouldi, its gonna be an efficient, German product.

Unlikely to support GPS or Bluetooth and battery life is quite poor. Similar offerings about for a similar price. If it suits your needs. Should be ok

lidl's quality, have always found quite good for the price, if it does what it says on the box for the price you want to pay then you can't go far wrong !

Must admit forgot about Bluetooth, that would be the killer for me.

Someone in work uses the nexus 7, I have the I pad and I actually prefer the nexus.

Far more user friendly it just means apps are through google play  :y

Nexus 7. Made my ipad look overpriced and underpowered. In fact the only apple product in my house I sold was the ipad. I really like the current nexus line up. got a Nexus 4 phone as well.
