ac gas synchro 9.1.0.0 settings for a 3.2 needed
« on: 14 May 2013, 20:31:27 »

As above

Now I have got a lead that works, i'm struggling with the setup.

Can someone on here who has a 2.6 /3.2 post me a screen shot of their settings please  :)

No matter what I do, I can't seem to get the rpm signal to be stable on the parameters page.
Its bouncing around even with the engine not running  :o >:(

Older ECU settings are shown here. A few changes but that should be a good starter.

See also my reply on the other thread. Activity with the engine stopped makes me think it's a wiring problem rather than config but check the threshold is set to 2.5 V.

That was my thoughts too Kev  :y
At 3:45 this morning while treading the floorboards  :-[ :-[
Threshold is definitely set to 2.5 volts.

Well at least with the new lead, I can communicate with the ecu now  ::)
I'm going to roll back the stag software as far as it will go then check the wiring connections on the car ecu end.
Had trouble picking the wires out (chuffing long sighted  >:() so i'm thinking I've either got a crap connection or I've tapped into the wrong wire  :-[

Thanks for the reply  :)

I'd stick to the latest software. Not sure you can go back with the firmware version in the ECU and if it goes out of kilter with the software on the pc you will get odd things happening.

Double check the wiring, particularly the RPM feed and LPG ECU ground connection. :y

All connections made iaw the guides.
On the synchro 9.1.0.0 software, I managed to wind the stag software back 2 updates but will stop playing as you suggest  :)

0 volt ground wire is straight to the battery neg terminal as is the 12 volt fused feed.

When I find my waterproof's, i'll check the connection for the rpm signal  :y
Its pishing down here  ;D
