It is NOT the price of "petrol" that is being investigated, but the setting of crude oil prices at the highest level, exactly the same problem that the LIBOR market had some months back ..

The price of oil is manipulated right from the start by OPEC and a cartel of producers like OPEC in any other industry would be against international trade laws!
