new neighbour needs a word.
« on: 16 June 2013, 18:47:07 »

Hi guys just thought I would post this for some advice. Recently moved to a very leafy part of rickmansworth, cracking flat, huge by comparison to the the last 1. Anyway the parking is on a 1st come 1st served basis. Last week I noticed on the driver side passenger door a series of sharp dings with soft vertical lines leading off the impact points rising 9 to 10 inches.the marks start well above the door protector strip >:( >:( >:(. Now ive had 2 do some CIS, these are the conclusions, looks 2 me that said damage has been caused by a rear door, all of the vehicles in the block are cars all except 1 09 Vx Zafira, all of the cars rear doors have nice rounded edges, except 1 09 Vx Zafira >:(. More CIS reveals, sharpest ding measured from road to point of impact approx 29ins :-X you guessed it guys measurement from road to nice pointy Zafira rear door approx 29ins. sorry for long winded post guys just wanted to what would you do, bear in mind i have not seen this person do this and she is a woman, quite a big woman. all suggestions treated in the strictest confidence ;D ;D
Cheers John

Have a polite conversation with her about the mounting damage to your car, without making accusations, and just let what you say sink in.  Then watch her closely whenever she goes to her car if possible, and if she is proved to be causing your car damage, ask for her insurance details! :y

When my old neighbor blocked my driveway despite many polite asking him not to , i lost my rag and threw a few punches and never had anymore problems  ;D So dont do that  ;D Sure it was him that snapped my wing mirror off  >:(

nobody around were I live would touch my cars-even left one overnight unlocked once-by error--people know am slightly insane over my cars--and dont care who/size/ gender-touch my car-and meet your maker-simples--some time ago a driver backed into my rover while trying to park :o they heard bang and drove off-I was in it at time :o--I shot after them overtook and blocked road-got all their details-community police were there as was 5 cars-all held up by me-one driver threatened me told him what happened-in the end got a good result :y :y

Next time you see her, ask her if she ever has any problem with people damaging her car in the car park, as you keep finding yours damaged, and can't work out why. Hopefully she will be embarrassed enough to stop doing it. :y
