Hi All,

I am now almost at the stage of putting things back together but I need a few points/questions clarifying before I do something wrong!

If I'm right this bolt is hollow? should I take it out and clean it to leave be?

As the oil requires changing do I empty it before starting and put fresh in once it back together, or should I put it back together and run her for a little while to warm the oil up as per oil change guide?

As the cam covers had lots of flakey dried oil all over them I would assume that some of this would have come off when running and would end up in the sump? If that is the case should I remove the sump to clean it out or would the oil change clear most of it out?
(I don't fancy doing that unless necessary - too much mess potentially ::) ) I'm worried that if there is a lot of crud in the sump some of it may end up blocking something important, or am I being too pessimistic?

Cheers,

Paul  (At least I can follow dbug's instructions :y  'on how to get Dropbox pics to load'  ;D)
