The date is the 7 July....The day some years ago 52 poor souls were taken onto the London underground and blown too kingdom come

Blimey where has that time gone... 

I was driving a lorry to London from Bristol that day and I was listening carefully to the reports on the radio.  Any hint that it was a 'dirty' bomb and I was turning round and high tailing it back to Briz!    In the end the roads in London were very quiet and I completed my drop and pick up and was heading for home much sooner than normal... 

I found out a couple of days later that my friends wife was on one of the tubes that was hit, but luckily a few carriages away...
