Took the Mig to a car show yesterday as part of the ABS display.This was a new venue for us in the northern area and was just a few miles west of Barnsley.Anyway in another display area entered as a private entry was another Mig,but with a difference.It was first registered in 2000 on a "W" and was an ex-plod MV6 3.0 MFL.The present owner is conducting a rolling restoration on it to bring it back to its full glory.It has the "Battenburg" markings on it along with other police markings and has the roof lights still on.It rides on steel wheels with the plastic wheel covers.Is it known on here?The information I've given above was gleaned from my own observations and the write up by the owner displayed with the car,unfortunately I didn't get chance to speak to him personally as every time I went past he was either busy fielding questions from other people or was not with the car.Oh,by the way when in service it was a South Yorkshire police vehicle,surely one of the last MFL cars?as my own Mig is a 2000 registered caralso on a W but mine is a facelift.

Was it W207 MWF?
It was sold on ebay 2 months ago or so, it used to belong to a Film / Tv Prop company. I've not yet seen the vehicle.

Do you know just had to look up the photos on my camera and yes that's the very vehicle.

well done mate---mine is not a mint one--ask anyone who seen it--But its entered in a show---Waddesdon manor 4th Aug along with my "65 Rover 2000 V8 rat rod---Its 50th Anniversary of P6--over 150 P6's will be there---wonder if I get another Best Car of show or invite to be on club display(rover not me)

Oh,my Mig is no minter,it's not exactly a dog but does have its "battle scars"scuffed bumpers etc.[on it when I bought it,honest guv.-but we attend a few shows in the northern area as part of the ABS to try promoting the club as much as anything.
