paper oil filter
« on: 23 July 2013, 13:19:27 »

Hi all made a very silly mistake today ,not very tec minded so will try and explaine as best as I can.
The problem is thought I would change the oil and filter on my 2.2 diesel 2003 today.got the old filter off ok but as I cleaned the top of the filter housing the large O ring came off. The new filter came with a new one but as I look at the cap there seems to be two groves at the end of the screw thread that the ring could fit on.does anyone know does it fit in the grove that is right arfter the thread or the next one .  sorry about the bad spelling and I know that I haven't explained my self very well but hope someone can make sence of this and help thanks
