Switch it off & find something constructive to do. I must have the lowest mileage telly in the uk.

Ours doesn't get a lot of use, either.  But then it's a 13 year old 24" ex-rental CRT job.  For the amount we watch, it doesn't seem worth upgrading.  

It's not much cop for watching DVDs though - like looking through a letter box from the other side of the road. :(
