2.0/2.2 exhaust manifold

Are these by any chance the same part? need a replacement and can only find 2.0 ones in the scrappy

Although they look almost identical on the outside, the 2.0ltr manifold has extra holes in the upper flange. This is for the EGR pipework to connect to, which is totally different to the 2.2ltr setup, so no, unfortunately they are not interchangeable :(

The 2.2 manifold is the top one in this picture with the 2.0 below.

You can use the 2.0 one but you need to fill the holes.

This can be done by tapping them and inserting a suitably sized bolt

Cheers guys , I don't fancy tapping cast iron to be honest so will keep looking!
