"" holds head in hands ""

yes she's done some practice.

but the playing is robotic, slightly soulless, and the timing is off,  and the tone is horrid.....  far too much fizzy gain....  covers sloppy technique....

PS.

yup,  i CAN play that.....   or at least I could, and did....   20 odd years ago....

can probably still do most of it if i re-learn the order of the phrases.

(i would add that Vivaldi and paginini were the reasons i bought my first 24 fret guitar in about 1990. ....  being of only limited talent,(or ego)   unlike mr Yngwie Malmsteen,   just couldn't get the top of the phrases right on a 22 fret. )

here's a rather better version.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2wqScREFiU

however, if she can develop some stage presence,  and "feel"  she'll go far......    there's far too few females in the shredding trade,

One of my favourite Metallica albums. Of course deep purple led the way as they were the first rock group to perform with an orchestra,

Cracking. She'll go far if she wants to.

I remember when I first saw the FunTwo version of Canon Rock on Youtube, thought it was amazing.

Quite impressive-but have to agree with Max here in that ,however churlish it may sound, her performance lacks the "soul" (for lack of a better word) that any good music should have. Then again this probably only comes with age/experience. The young guitarist I always rated was Sungha Jung whose acoustic stuff was both technically excellent but also showed "feeling". Sadly, the last few clips Ive seen of him as he has grown older and moved to more electric playing dont really match up to the promise of his earlier stuff. But hey, Ive been playing for years and there's no way my fingers can move like this young lady's so what do I know ;D. For anyone who likes this sort of thing check out Edgar Cruz's classical arrangement of "Bohemian Rhapsody" (if I wasnt such a ludite I'd even give you a link! ;D)
