cruise control
« on: 13 August 2013, 10:09:58 »

Hi
I'm new to this so please excuse any errors I may make. I have just taken ownership of a 2001 2.2 cd omega auto and would like some advice please. Whilst I love the car and its comfortable and easy handling I would like to know if it is possible to retrofit cruise control to it and if so how easy and expensive is it.
I really enjoy driving this car, apart from a Dodge ram I had for a while this is the most comfortable and responsive car I have driven.
My only problem is that on a long run, due to polio, my right leg has a tendency to go numb if I don't move it around (which can be a little off putting to other drivers when the car slows down while I waggle my leg around lol) hence the question about cruise control.
Hopefully someone out there can help :)

Kevin Wood, near Alton, isn't that far from you, and has the equipment to enable the function in your ECU :)
