Vauxhall Meriva question
« on: 20 August 2013, 20:20:28 »

Hello everyone

I was wondering if anyone is able to give me some advice regarding a problem my wife is having with her Meriva. The car is a 1.7 CDTI 2008 and all the electric windows have stopped working, going neither up or down. The information display is not showing any info but does when the radio is on. Checked the fuses and came to a conclusion that they are ok due to the fact that each window works on a separate fuse and pulled one out and it seemed fine. not to sure what to look for next. Any suggestions welcome.

Regards

According to Vx Network there is a common fault on these and that's the electric window regulator.

thread here...

theres 5 pages.... someone later on shows how to do the repair  :y (assuming it is that)

Thanks for the reply. I looked at the thread and it appears to only cover one failed window. All of mine have failed at the same time. I was able to put them up using the remote for locking the car by holding the button down, but none of them go up or down using the switches inside the car. It seems to be also linked to the display failing at the same time.

Thanks again
