Heading to Porthmadog in a couple of weeks. Nothing fancy, a week at a haven caravan park. Having never set foot in Wales I'm looking forward to it.
Anyone know the area? Any tips on places to visit/see ? Good places to eat, that kind of thing.?  :y :y

Just about as far away from England as possible, and if my experience is anything to go by they hate the lot of us. :-\

Lovely area drive through there often was passing through last Sunday, Love going to Portmeirion, Roads can be a little narrow and bendy and tiresome but is worth it  :y

Stayed in that area lots of times and the beach there,blackrock sands, is lovely and clean. Good base to explore from with Caernavon castle, shell island,Mount Snowdon all nearby. Some cracking drives round there too, will have a think and send you some tips.
