I was considering investing but looked at the market and decided against it. RM are in a monopolising position with a workforce that has the balance of power on the shop floor. Something about it doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Letters are a dying (almost dead) market.Parcels - a lot of competition,and Royal Fail / snail are very uncompetitive,so all things being equal they will get eaten alive in the real world.
Im incensed that the Govt. have arranged things so that the taxpayer rather than the new PLC has to pick up the huge bill for Royal Mail pension fund liabilities.
