They did until the mid 90,s  ;)

My old 95 E class was a minter,still is actually as I had it back for its mot recently :y

I have just read about a diy way to remove/ refit the balljoints using a jack, a hacksaw and a 36 mm socket - invented by an Irishman of course. I think that's the route I will be going down. It might end in tears,but hey ho.  ;D

Where there is a will there is a way, a challenge to be overcome - at least it is not you daily car so you have plenty time to find a way, good luck.......... :y :y

Thanks Vamps, and I completely agree. Shame its winter though, if i :yt were summer I would be really looking forward to it. Just hope it stays dry when I do it next week.
