ps I assume putting LS gear oil (with the extra additives) is not a problem to go in to a non lsd diff?

ps any idea what diameter hose the gearbox breather is? going to go searching for it in a few minutes... if I recall its quite a think one isn't it?

that reminds me... i had to take the plenum off to locate the GB breather so i took the opportunity to clean the crankcase breathers. put it all back together and noticed that the two o rings from breather bridge to throttle body are leaking vacuum.... checked this with carb cleaner.

only replaced these a few months back and they've never been disturbed since. I'm wondering what your thoughts are on popping a layer of black cam cover sealant round it?

You'll only have to clean it off when you fit a new O seal  ;) ;)

Yeah I thought about that. but tbh it comes off in a big chunk so im not too worried about it.....its just I cant get to the dealer for a while and was thinking of this as a temp repair :)
