I can understand your amusement as small local shops are definitely a dying breed, but the difference in quality between the supermarket crap and a proper butchers is immediately noticeable when you eat it (as is the price).

Picked up 6 boxes of ribs today  There was a whole pallet load of them , back to full price tomorrow

Sunday dinner and ribs  And if you prefer a nice joint of meat get yourself down to asda , big beef joint for £7  Hope its beef and not clip clop meat 


Oh and dont forget the custard on offer at lidl

I don't see how a horse is any different to a cow or a sheep, or even a dog.

I'm sure that they're all as tasty as each other if properly cooked.

We're far too squeamish about meat in this country. 

Rabbit is another one that should be used more and would/should be cheap as chips, because they breed like...

Sometimes a bit of trial and error to find a butchers that you like.....and at the price you like.
Also when you cook it......if sausages/burgers/bacon/mince.....far less fat (water if bacon) comes out of sausages/burgers/mince when cooking 

And I like the chilli and hog roast sausages from the butchers i go to 

He even had a deal on one day last week.....buy a pound and get a pound free
