Ah, no experience with that size, but be carefull vectra wheel don't foul the shock on omega. You need at least 10mm from the rim to shock body on omega with camber set to -1.10.

If the wheels are 8j, then the tyres you need are either 235/40/18 or 245/40/18 :y

Wheels ideally need an offset of ET 33 or ET 30... ET38 8J wheels fit, just. So you'll need suitable spacers/bolts to fit them to the Omega :y

To add, if the Omega is fitted with 225/55/16 tyres, if you should ideally fit 245/40/18s, as they have the same rolling radius :y

Thanks for the answers folks, looks like I'll be either fitting bigger tyres and using spacers or selling the wheels on :(

I'll try them on the Omega when I get it Saturday and go from there...

The wheels that are in question are 18" BK299, I was hoping they would fit the Omega without problems.....

The omega I bought to break had bk158 on it. They are 18 x 7.5 j and et40. Fitted with 235/40/18 there was no issue with them rubbing.

ET38s with 8J wheels have very little clearance... it stands to reason that narrower wheels can carry a higher offset without fouling ::)

In fact, with standard 16", 6.5J wheels which have an ET of 39, there is about an inch of clearance at the strut :y

As the O.P isn't certain his are 8j then my info could be useful should they turn out to be 7.5j.

See how you get on... If your original measurements are right, I doubt the fronts will fit, the rears might well fit physically, but cosmetically they will look wrong, and mechacally, the rear track will be out :-\

If you need spacers, then I would suggest 10-15mm, and bear in mind that you need to allow for suspension work... only leaving a couple of mm clearance at the strut, might not give enough room to adjust the camber as and when the lower arms/bushes need changing :y
