here we go then for people that don't read books
pos to pos
neg to earth point  on engine of car being jumped

this will save your ecu,and reduce the risk of arking

No No No!!!!!! negative to negative and then positive to earth, this is the way for any decent car.......... :y :y
Certainly guaranteed to start a fire if you do connect it that way  ;)

I think Vamps mistakenly thinks that care are still -ve chassis.. hopefully someone has taken his spanners away now as it's not 1954 anymore ;D

I think I'd better have your spanners for safe keeping, please? ::)

Older cars were + to chassis. ;D

but this is 2014,not 1914 and positive earth cars havnt been made for at least 30 years so nobody cares and if someone had read that and done it.............................................
