2001 2.2 omega poor starter in mornings
« on: 25 June 2012, 20:49:44 »

Hi,
Anybody else having the same problem as me with their car?

I come to start it in the morning and it doesnt want to start, i need toturn the key a couple of time to get it going. Once started it is fine but leave it whilst im at work and it happens again!
Had it a two seperate garages and ha diagnostics run but all saying nothing, it is completly baffling, Cleaned everything down, its had new plugs, new exhast sensor, new crank sensor, still finding it hard work to get it started!

Any ideas???

Cheers CiderB

have you clean'd the breather line from cam cover to the intake camber, also the the idel control valve.?
if you cannot blow down the line its blocked.

2.2 doesn't have an idle control valve Rusty  ;)

Ciderb - have you had codes read, was crank sensor diagnosed as faulty? They are bullet proof on 2.2!

Need to get codes read & go from there. Has the fuel filter been changed?
