Quick question. Is it a 24mm socket/spanner for the paper oil filter.

Quick question. Is it a 24mm socket/spanner for the paper oil filter.

Pretty sure it is  :y ...... don't be tempted to use the 3/8"th sqaure drive in the middle if there is one

Remember little smear of grease on the rubber o-ring on re-fitting, makes things easier on next oil change.  :y

Remember little smear of grease on the rubber o-ring on re-fitting, makes things easier on next oil change.  :y

or dip your finger in the new oil & smear it on the new O ring  :y

or dip your finger in the new oil & smear it on the new O ring  :y

I do that for the 4 pot canisters, as you re-fill it's nice and easy, but for reasons unknown even to me I use grease on the paper ones. Think it was that fatty admin which got me onto that habbit!

Maybe cause the V6 is just that little bit more awkward, the easier the better  ;D
