Question about interior carpets

The carpet in my FL Mv6 estate is crap.
Will the one from my PFL estate breaker fit in the FL ?

I was pondering this - how easy would it be to make one custom, from a suitably sized length of regular carpet? I imagine it's well beyond a simple cut and tuck, from memory it's moulded to shape?

It will drop straight in :y

That is once you've removed the centre console, front kick panels and front seats ::) sill trims and rear seat base can just about stay put though :y

cut foot well carpet out and drop in new bit with double side carpet tape :y (interim repair?)
