Many thanks for the instruction link, I just had a good look at the photos and I'm positive that the two hoses are the wrong way round on my car. I've ordered another HBV just in case but will start on Sat morning by swapping over and see what happens. Will keep you posted

You'll need a box of plasters too  ;) ;) ;)

You say you've ordered a new HBV ..... is that OE or pattern?  :-\

Got plasters, HBV from Euro's, I have been told their life span is not as good as genuine but I've got it for £13 so I lease I can rule this problem out. Might send one of the kids in as they have smaller hands!!

:) Many Many Thanks for the guide, I have been working on it tonight and started by swapping over the pipes on the HBV. Started engine and we have HEAT!!!!! The pictures were just enough to see the pipe directions. Don't know what I would have done without it as I would have put a new one the same way round and still had the same problem!  :y
