Warning Scam
« on: 09 June 2008, 16:40:46 »

Just a little warning. If you advertise your car in the Autotrader and give your mobile No you will start to get calls off 08718237502. The phone will ring once and then go off. Dont call the number back, it will go straight to an answer machine and the charge is £5 >:(

Ive been called a couple of times a day for the last week >:(

i use a secondary phone number... which has no credit, PURELY for when i'm selling stuff, that way I expect no one else to ring it, and if it rings its because someone wants to buy something, and if they want it bad enough they'll ring again, so i dont need to ring anyone back

thinking about it. dont want to but a change in circumstances means i might be in need of something a tad bigger with a tow bar. have thought of just fitting a tow bar to the one i've already got but it would end up getting ruined and it too nice a car for that to happen.
