Rad leak
« on: 11 March 2014, 23:10:31 »

Likely places?

It's not the drain. It's coming from higher up. About 1/3 of the way up. Not visible from the top. Although there is a load of gubbins in the way.

Whilst stripping my old mig for parts i noticed the main rad has small "pods" on the side connected to the rad.

Don't know what they are for but could be coming from their connection ???

Weep from one of the thermo switches or a crack in the top hose spigot :-\

Both my Omegas have had new radiators because the plastic header tank split.

The first one split next to the top hose, the second one split net to the top mounting lug.

Look at a picture of a radiator and see what's about a third of the way up. ::)
