What is torque for wishbone pinch bolt?
« on: 19 March 2014, 13:14:56 »

Cnanging wishbones. What is the torque for the pinch bolt locating the steering ball joint pin in the steering knuckle? Is it the 100Nm lower balljoint to knuckle quoted in Haynes? Semms high to me.

100nm

Is it, plus some angle tightening? Can't remember.

Defo 100nm involved though.

Don't forget it has to clamp the casting in the hub. Bft!
