On Sunday (Tea Time) 30th of March i will Be Travelling From East London To Leicester In a LWB Transit Van Empty.

Following on from this. Its the first time i have driven in london (need to get out more) Went to east london and back from leicester.
Went near mile end tube station area.

Well its not like on the post cards is it.  What a sh.t hole it is there  Its like being in another world/Country.
I must say i never really seen many white people at all. it seemed to be them Burka Things mainly and Black samalians i think  In flip flops.

I spent 8 hours in the area,And when i left i ripped up that M1 to get away from such a dump. Back to this city which is getting the same.

Well done to the conservatives and labour party for making this country such a multicultural country.. You have done a great job.

Been like that for years now. Most 'Londoners' live in Essex or Kent now.
All the way from Central London, down the Romford road, is exactly the same. Mile end, Stratford, forest gate, ilford, seven kings...... They're yer eastenders now.
Also, have you heard the London accent lately? Mixture of Caribbean and Arab innit.

I was born in that area (Bow) back in the days when the streets were black and white (and the people weren't!), and although it wasn't the most genteel of areas, it was proper English. The only non-English person we ever saw in my street was sometimes on a Sunday morning, when a scotch bloke paraded up and down in a skirt, playing a tortured cat - how we larfed!
Now, though, I feel like a foreigner in my own home territory. The last time I passed through there, on a National Express coach going to Victoria, it was a Sunday morning and all I could see from Bow Road to Aldgate was thousands (yes, literally) of muslins dressed in sheets, walking along the road - to the mosque?

Heard lots of talk.But none of it was english. Except when a indian asked me if i was local cos he wanted to use the van.

I agree, Cleggy; they hate us, kill our people (think that soldier in Woolwich) and yet they flood into our country feeding off our benefit payments......

Well, to say the least some of the opinions above are a bit "extreme" but I get the picture.

Most people are very tolerant of non-white-British from any part of the world, the problem comes along when white-British become a minority or even non existant. Has anyone noticed how there is little mention in the press or media these days of the term "white flight" ? Almost as if it does not happen any more ?

It does happen. Very much so. Where did all the Cockneys in Mile End go to ?
