One of those days where everything you touch.....
« on: 23 June 2014, 13:35:57 »

....goes wrong!!!!

Last week wifey brings her 206 to me. Couldnt find the locking wheel nut key. So whilst waiting for her to text me back with its location i thought ''hmmm, ill have a look at the door mechanism''. its always been hard to shut.

So. i look at it and i touch it and it locks in place with the door open. cant make it release with the handle or central locking. just wouldnt budge. after 30 mins of messing about i then go to try the door handle again to see if ive fixed it.

CRACK

The door handle comes off in my hand  ;D ;D ;D

could this get any worse? yup.

decide to remove the door card to get the mechanism out and replace it. in the process i snap the plastic that covers the wing mirror electrics

OMFG!!!!!!!!

Anyone else have days like that. or just me? lol

Peugeots are well known to be made of swiss cheese.  I will never touch a french car again, regardless of how much I like the person who asks

actually your problems are caused by the car designers on purpose >:(  because they dont want someone to repair their car without having the necessary manuals >:( >:(  modern day cars have lots of those..  also on an omega there is a hidden screw holding the dash which hides under the pipes/tubes :(
