2.5 V6 exhaust
« on: 06 July 2014, 15:33:55 »

Could anyone tell me if there is any difference between the exhaust on the saloon and estate models of the 2.5 V6 or if any of the front, middle and rear sections are interchangeable.  I may have to look out for a second hand system for my estate, but saloon spares are easier to come by.

Also, does anyone know if a repair section is available to replace the flanges between the cat and middle sections?  My exhausts are pretty good apart from corrosion of the bolts and flanges at this point.

Thanks for the pics Rob, I can see the differences between the two now.  I expect those stainless ones will be beyond my budget, but do you know who makes them?

Unless I'm looking in the wrong place Eternal don't seem to be listing much for the Omega at the moment, mainly just fitting kits?

I fitted an ETS one to my 3.0l estate about a month ago.
At £94 delivered it's a good deal. The back box isn't a brilliant fit, but then neither was the genuine one that I removed.

Thanks for the info, I'll have a look at ETS too.  Next problem will be the front section - cats still work fine, but flanges on them and the middle section are knackered which is why I was wondering if there is a repair section available that will enable me to save the cats.
