Help Wanted - Omega Not Starting - Have some fault codes
« on: 08 September 2014, 20:58:35 »

Hi, someone came round today and plugged in a tablet and read off some fault codes.

Background - The car failed after it stalled a couple of weeks ago, we have cleaned the EGR valve and changed the leak off pipes, we have checked with a fuel bulb and the leak off pipes remain on.

Today when the guy came, he managed to get some life into the car when he took off the air intake I believe and sprayed something into it as I turned the engine over.

Anyway here are the codes.

They are as Follows

P1613
P1631
P1651-b

We checked the fuel pump in the boot, but this is not getting any power to it... He advised it could be one of three things.

Immobiliser
Fuse for the pump
Relay for the pump.

We cannot find the latter two to check .

Another engine killed with Easy Start then ::)

How much fuel is in it?

Haynes Vectra B facelift and early Vectra C manuals cover this engine :y
