As I think we all know on here, sourcing a new 2.6 / 3.2 radiator without resorting to taking over £230 into a Vx dealer is a tall order, everyone reckons they sell them but they always end up being a 2.5 / 3.0 radiator with integral ATF cooler and no external mounts.

I have found a supplier who can supply a pattern radiator for these later V6's and I'm happy to say that the quality seems to be every bit as good as the original. The brackets are present for the external ATF rad to be mounted as well as the bracket to support the ATF pipes. The only variation over the original is that the top of the radiator has two seams rather than one which means that the fan frame for the engine bay side fan needs a slight modification to the plastic mount on the top to clear the seam (nothing major). Price at time of writing was £103.83 inc delivery and VAT.

It's worth dropping an email to the site to confirm that you require the late 2.6/3.2 radiator but they are quick to reply to any emails sent.

This will show my ignorance big-time, but does that mean that my 2.6, '51 Reg, will have an external ATF cooler for the autobox? I've never looked (obviously!), but if I ever get a tin tent then I won't need additional ATF cooling?

Have had a couple of rads from UK Car Cooling over the years and have recommended them on here (as have others) - they have always offered the two types of Omega rads - its just a matter of looking.  Always quick delivery and good quality
