A phone call and they will then match the quote if you send them a screen shot confirming its a like for like quote?

Just had both mine renewed, Chris Knott quotes were £329 for the Omega and £444 for the Signum, 2 calls, 2 emails later and its £263 and £370 plus no hassle of changing insurance companies etc.

Got a high quote from Swinton in Thetford earlier this year, quick phone call to manager and it soon came back down.
As said before, they do like to try it on. :(

Paid £169. This year then thro Topcashback got £30 back £139.00. Fully comp, protected no claims, and windscreen,£300, excess.

Did household with post office got £42.00 cashback :y
Shop about its worth the hour of your life that you lose, just remember some cash back deals aren't that good.
Had a quote for £220 after cash back went to the vendors own site price was £119,so shop wisely. :)

I use them all the time, but agree, do your homework. But TC can be used to make really big savings, for example hotels and holidays, cruises etc. I change my utilities supplier every year, and have always done it through TopCashback:y :y :y

New regulations for Motor Insurers are being talked about, are they not?

I'll admit, I have only had a quick squint in the national rags, but supposedly meant to make the companies more competitive???

Either way, probably best to take the renewal figure as a joke and phone, e-mail to get a better quote.  If not fruitful, pick and choose from many other companies.
