« on: 07 October 2014, 19:09:25 »

Help please
Just had the 2.2 Mot, passed with flying colours( 115000 miles),but a small water leak has had me stumped.
The leak is on the Near Side of the engine looking forward and the garage says it is from
a plastic into a rubber hose? yep they have not got a clue an I have not also.
It loses a lt every 1000 to 15000 miles not much but I like thing to be right.
any ideas ,they have said let it develop.

any thoughts (now had the girl 5 years)

Sorry all the garage said was, when under the car ,on the nr side looking up was a pipe that looked plastic going into a rubber pipe . What the boys said was let it develop?
I am sure the fault will get worse, then I might have the answer. just thought some one here had a similar problem.

I'd say it's HBV because can't think of anything else that would be 'plastic to rubber'. Ask the garage if theres a vacuum hose connected to the top of said 'plastic'. If yes, then HBV defo :y
