Driving down a 40 limit road this evening in filthy conditions and people start flashing me, so I'm thinking that there's an accident ahead so I slow down to 30, but no, it's a camera van.  ::)

I go past and on about 500 metres to a roundabout where I turn right onto 30 limit road and people start flashing me again, and I think that there must really be an accident this time as the camera van is round the corner, but no, it's another camera van!  :o  ::)

The Chief Constable's christmas party must have gone over budget as they're determined to raise some cash tonight!  ;)  ;D

Got to agree with you about the 'filthy conditions' today but by 9am when I was 5 miles from Portsmouth the sun had broke through and the sky was clear!

Mind you three hours before I'd been washing frozen snow off the windscreen with warm water!

They do that on a fairly regular basis round here.One in plain sight-which can be seen from miles off-the other although not exactly hidden is sited so you're virtually on top of it before you see it,just round a gentle curve or similar.

Let me guess, that would be near winterton on the road between scunny and barton  >:(

That's one and another is on the Queensway[A18]just along the road from where I live.
