Just done a Jaime
« on: 24 January 2015, 17:44:36 »

Bought two 'universal fit' wiper blades from ECP this afternoon. Took the 19" one out of the box and fitted it no problem. Took the 24" one out of the box and a load of plastic bits tumbled out with it. Looked at the fiddly fickin thing for about two minutes, had a squint at the bit of paper that came with it, tugged and twisted and pulled at the 'universal adapter', swore, went a bit red and snapped the bastard thing in half  >:( >:(

It was the 19" one that had split anyway, and I managed that one. :)

ECP shite. Best avoided really.

I think I have a trade account with them, but I still won't use 'em

Surely you do what I do.... take it to the garage, ask them to bung on new wipers and clear off to the café next door to get yourself a coffee....I thought that's what everyone does  :y
Oh and while there about it, check the levels and top up the screenwash  :)

That's my future plan, Dave. I've been listening to that tight arsed git Opti too much.
