as long as it is basically sound, mot'd etc it will always have value as its an estate - there is always demand for them.   The things you mentioned are not unreasonable and really just to be expected with its mileage.

Yeah. Will do me good to do something as Im bricking it at the thought, but I am sure I will be ok when push comes to shove  ;)

Without knowing the mileage, Mot, what you paid it's hard to say. What i can say is, if the cambelt is your main worry but you're happy to play/practice on the other bits, the kit's cheap on the 4 pots & i've seen two members @ Timbucks Telford (Shifnall) cambelt meet drag a 4 pot in, grab the tools they needed, pop the bonnet & drop it back down in the time it'd take me to give it a quick polish (& i'm a valet tart)
   Not my place to name names on here... the letters M & J spring to mind but i've seen them in action. As Gordon Ramsey would say, " tensioners, belt, strip, replace, done...yes?)
   P.S. This was one member per car, not both on the same one.
       Impressed! 8-)

Well I did offer you mine, full MOT, Tax, 66k Mot’s to prove and pretty much getting on for nearly mint for a 10 year old car. ;D ;D ;D
